Matteo Pala Tappeti has obtained GoodWeave certification, an internationally recognised certification that reflects the company’s commitment to ensuring a responsible supply chain, free from child labour, forced labour and bonded labour.
The certification requires compliance with rigorous ethical standards, regular assessments and independent inspections of working conditions throughout the production chain.
It also supports programmes dedicated to children’s education and to improving working conditions in producer communities.
